Early last year we heard that O'Sullivan's was looking to up-grade its gable-end wall which faced out to the bay and gives a fond hello and farewell to the racing and boat enthusiasts who visit Crookhaven throughhout the summer.
This is a thriving bar, with great music, fabulous piers to swim from which keeps the kids entertained no-end.
We met Dermot O'Sullivan for a consultation which produced this eye-catching image, with signwriting, sea, the Fastnet lighthouse and a gorgeous mermaid as an extra special commission for Dermot and all the sailors to salut on thier way around the fastnet. This image is close to Dermot's original idea of the Murphy's Fastnet poster, with its stenciled look and feel, with some added wow! and as the wall is facing West we wanted to catch the sunlight in the gilded rays from the lighthouse.
